The Alliance for Integrity is a business-driven, multi-stakeholder initiative seeking to strengthen corruption prevention measures in the economic system and global supply chains. As a learning and implementation network, the initiative promotes collective action by all relevant actors from the private sector, the public sector and civil society. The Alliance for Integrity is currently active in 13 countries worldwide. Key activities include awareness raising, building compliance capacities among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and improving the framework conditions for investments through public-private dialogues. Solutions successfully tested in one country are replicated in other regions and fed into the global political discourse. The Alliance for Integrity is the only business-driven, global multi-stakeholder initiative initiated by a government which provides support to businesses to collectively fight corruption on the ground. The initiative is financed by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. GIZ is an enterprise owned by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and provides services worldwide in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development and international education.

CWC was originally founded in 2017 in Brazil by two Brazilian lawyers Anne Caroline Prudencio and Juliana Oliveira Nascimento. The Committee has over 700 members in Brazil and is expanding rapidly in the UK, Europe (Portugal, Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Spain) and now in Africa, Asia, US and Latin America. We currently have official Chapters in Brazil, UK, Portugal and Germany. Our member base ranges from junior to senior leadership roles in various sectors including financial services, oil & gas, manufacturing, law firms, consultancy firms and public sector. CWC is a non-profit organisation which aims to build a global network of women in compliance, promoting the discussion of ethics, industry best practices, new regulatory developments, and job opportunities. Our goal is to promote a global culture of compliance and ethics, and empower women to achieve prominent leadership roles in the compliance industry.
With more than 500 members, DICO – Deutsches Institut für Compliance (German Institute for Compliance) pursues the goal of setting standards for compliance and qualifications and to further develop the profile of the compliance officer. DICO sees itself as contact partner for all those interested in compliance in business, associations and legislation. The non-profit association aims to play a key role in shaping good corporate governance in Germany and provides a forum for national and international networking for compliance experts. Both the expertise of its own members and external know-how flow into the work of DICO. Members include well-known companies and their compliance representatives such as Allianz, BMW, E.ON, MAN, Merck, RWE, SAP, Siemens, thyssenkrupp, Zalando and ZF. The association is open to companies and compliance experts from all sectors and intends to take on the interests of SMEs in particular. DICO was founded on 28th of November in 2012 on the initiative of leading compliance practitioners in Berlin. Our goals and tasks are derived directly from our statute (PDF). Our General Assembly is the most important body at DICO. Among other things, it chooses the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board. The essential tasks of our bodies are described in our statutes. The content of work at DICO takes place in our different committees: committees, working groups and project groups.

  Transparency International Deutschland e.V. (Transparency Germany) is the national chapter of Transparency International, the global network leading the fight against corruption including more than 100 established national chapters. Transparency Germany is recognized as a non-profit organization and works independently and self-financed. The organisation brings together relevant players from government, civil society, business and the media to promote transparency in politics, in public administration, in procurement and in business. Basic principles are integrity, accountability, transparency and participation of civil society. The aim is to raise public awareness about the harmful consequences of corruption and to strengthen integrity systems. As in all other countries, problems range from the public to the private sphere, from the health care system to sports. Transparency Germany was founded in 1993 and currently has more than 1.300 members.
